Fundraising

Your opportunity to get involved and make a difference!

Each year people from across the industry, from manufacturers and retailers to licensors and suppliers, come together for a number of events to raise funds that will go to children’s causes across the UK and overseas.

The Toy Trust committee, that disburses the funds raised, is made up of a cross-section of industry representatives including manufacturers, retailers and licensors.

To ensure all the money raised goes to the children that need it, the Toy Trust is administered by the British Toy & Hobby Association, which covers all administration costs.

Media Auction

The Toy Trust media auction sees our media partners donate airtime, print and other items for the industry to bid on. Thank you to our generous media partners for their continued support.

Our generous media partners donate the airtime, online and catalogue slots for the industry to bid for, without them the media auction would not be possible.

Christmas Card Initiative

Each year the Toy Trust invites companies to donate to its Christmas Card initiative.

The scheme gives BTHA members the opportunity to thank their customers through ads in the trade media rather than sending individual greetings cards.

This not only raises approximately £10,000 for the Toy Trust but is also environmentally friendly.

Hasbro tournaments

The much anticipated and competitive 7 a side football and netball tournaments, organised by Hasbro is now in its 8th year and raises in excess of £8,000 for the Toy Trust on average.

The event takes place at Brunel University Sports Ground, Middlesex annually in June or July. The 2020 event date will be confirmed shortly.
